The CWA in Tasmania has continually made contributions to the Spurr Wing, a 'home away from home’ for country patients attending the Launceston General Hospital, and their families.
Located at Charles Street, Launceston, The Spurr Wing caters for:
rural patients who are receiving daily treatments/operations and who require overnight accommodation
parents of children who are inpatients.
immediate family members of inpatients who don’t normally reside in the country.
